Palmer Architecture, LLC

As professionals interested in self-storage, you understand the unique needs of these facilities better than anyone. The joint venture of Pratt Architecture and Management and Palmer Architecture, LLC has the experience to design these facilities to your standards. Here are three common issues we address:

Both customers and local jurisdictions are getting more demanding. Municipalities are no longer satisfied with simple metal structures and are requiring a host of design elements to ensure these facilities blend in with surrounding real estate. We can guide you through the approval process and make cost-effective, yet attractive structures that will satisfy any jurisdiction. Your clients will also feel at home in safe facilities that are easy to use and maneuver within and include state of the art security systems and fire sprinklers throughout.

Many storage facilities no longer house just extra household objects, but invite patrons to store specialty items like antique furniture, wine, and even classic cars and RVs.. These items require affordable climate control adapted to storage facilities.

Self-storage construction requires a unique structure that architects must be familiar with. The floors of the multi-level buildings are concrete and rest on bearing walls rather than posts and beams. This allows for lower floor to floor heights saving you time, materials and money. The 10’-0” span between bearing walls allows flexibility in the depth of the storage units that are typically in 5’-0” increments.

We would like to assist you as partners in your quest for the most appropriate, cost-effective, and user-friendly storage facilities. We would love to meet with you to discuss how we might serve your clients and help you build a great facility. Please feel free to contact us at your convenience!
